We can see the relation of these values with ETCO 2 , how they increase with hypercapnia and decrease with hypocapnia. Especially PbO 2 had very different absolute values at start (PaCO 2 of 40 mmHg), but there is a change seen in every experiment directly after adjusting ETCO 2 .
